The Bourbon Women Association’s next event is a private tour of Woodford Reserve on Saturday, Aug. 11, that will include tastings and a three-course bourbon picnic on the porch prepared by the distiller’s chef, Ouita Michel. The event, which runs from noon to 4 p.m., is $30 for association members and $50 for non-members (which includes a year’s membership). Register here.

Woodford Reserve, in Versailles, Ky., is a beautiful place, as you can see in the above photo by award-winning Louisville photographer Dan Dry. Dan recently shot this and many other gorgeous photos along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail tour for a story in the fall issue of Food & Dining magazine, which comes out this week.
