  • The red and the blue

Heaven Hill Distilleries released this Red State/Blue State bourbon to create a buzz leading up to the 2012 presidential election. The bourbon in the bottles is the same, but the dueling labels allow you to show your true colors.

Politically, Kentucky tends to be a red state, with Louisville an island of blue. But there is another red and blue battle raging here where the colors are reversed, and this one will be settled with baskets, not ballots. The Louisville Cardinals (red) take on the Kentucky Wildcats (blue) in an epic NCAA Final Four showdown tomorrow night, and the entire state will be watching.

A bottle of this red- or blue-label bourbon might be just the thing to toast a victory - or to drown your sorrows.
